Membership Benefits

The Club offers members a variety of functions including live entertainment, faculty and staff receptions, wine tastings, and much more. Additionally, the club can be reserved by members for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, retirement parties, or any other special occasion.

Membership in the University Club entitles you to use premium conference, lecture, and meeting facilities including Cherokee Park, La Porte, and Virginia Dale rooms. Facilities are available for both business and social occasions.

The privilege of membership in the University Club is limited to the university community. The University Club offers membership opportunities to the following:

  • University faculty and administrative professionals
  • University state classified personnel
  • University graduate teaching assistants 
  • Retirees from both of these groups
  • Alumni

Upon presentation of your card, you will receive

  • Complimentary continental breakfasts Monday - Friday from 7:00 - 10:00 a.m.
  • 20% discount at the Aspen Grille, managed by the Restaurant & Resort Management program and located in the University Club (for reservations, please call 491-7006)
  • 10% discount on regular-priced items at the CSU Bookstore, located in the Lory Student Center (excludes textbooks, electronics and some specialty items)
  • Happy Hour with a full bar featuring premium wines and handcrafted ale from Coopersmith's on Thursdays from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
  • Access to any of the newly renovated meeting rooms and award-winning catering service provided by the Lory Student Center (call 491-0229 for room reservations and catering)
  • Ability to rent the University Club for weddings, receptions, retirement parties, departmental meetings, and other special occasions
  • Special events such as wine tastings, cheese tastings and other unique opportunities
  • Membership reciprocity at more than 100 college and university clubs worldwide - stop by the Club Manager's office for details
