Student Involvement Fair

This year, the Student Involvement Fair and Community Volunteer Expo have teamed up to showcase the diverse array of involvement possibilities at the 1st SLiCE Involvement Expo.

Traditionally, the Student Involvement Fair has occurred once per semester to promote involvement opportunities for CSU students through student organizations and to offer a venue for student organizations to recruit new members.  Separately, the Volunteer Expo has brought community service agencies to campus to allow students to see ways in which they can volunteer in the greater Fort Collins community.

Because so many students seek ways to provide service through the mission and values of student organizations, the SLiCE office has combined these two events to give students a better opportunity to see the connections between student organizations and community volunteer agencies.  The Involvement Expo will also provide a space for student organizations to continue community partnerships and build new relationships with community agencies if desired, while continuing the tradition of having a venue to recruit new members.  With approximately 125 student organizations participating and 55 community agencies represented at the Involvement Expo, students will have an opportunity to see a greater variety of ways in which they can be involved in the CSU community and the greater Fort Collins community.
